This plan offers cover for your parents and parents-in-law, and costs 43⁵⁰ per month for the first parent and only 32⁰⁰ per month for each additional parent. In the event of their death, the Parent Funeral Plan will pay out  5 000⁰⁰ per parent. Parents under 75 years of age qualify to be covered, and a maximum of four parents per account holder may be covered.

Note:

Your parents can’t take out a new Parent Funeral Plan after the age of 75, but existing insurance won’t be cancelled if they live longer than that.

Keep all paperwork related to any of your insurance plans together in one secure place, so that it’s easy to find when you need it. Ask about waiting periods and exclusions for each funeral plan before signing. Make sure that you fully understand all the wording in your policy document. If there is anything that you are unsure of, ask your service provider to explain it to you.
